What Every Vacuum Wants For Christmas-- Awesome LEGO deal!

I got my kiddo Legos last year for Christmas for $24, and when I opened up the 400 piece kit, I was like "uh... that's it?"

So when I saw this Lego deal going on at Walmart for $39 (for 4x the pieces), I was kicking myself.

Hop on this link to their site, before they're all gone!   http://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-LEGO5512/17133548

Will $29.99 + $5 Target Gift Card Make Up For Years Of Therapy Later On?

The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition with Blue Eyed Elf
http://www.target.com/p/The-Elf-on-the-Shelf-A-Christmas-Tradition-with-Blue-Eyed-Elf/-/A-13740548

As a kid, I loved Christmas.  It meant my mom dragging out the sparkly tinsel light covers (that she kept onto from the 60's), the white ceramic Christmas tree with the red lights (that sadly broke one year), and this little elf that I had hoped one day my mom would give to me to play with my Barbies with.

Instead, it was given to my younger brother to obliterate with his GI Joes.

Years went by, and I thought how neat it would be to find a similar-looking elf, where I stumbled upon Vermont Country Store's version, selling 3 of them for an insane $19.99 + shipping.  Since my kiddo is still young though, I purchased them anyways.  http://www.vermontcountrystore.com/store/jump/productDetail/Catalog/For_The_Home/Holiday_Decor/Classic_Christmas_Elves_(Package_of_3)/53856
Classic Christmas Elves from Memory Lane
Anything that is supposed to move on its own to different parts of the house (when the child isn't looking), screams therapy later on.  But I guess that's just me, since my kiddo is absolutely enchanted by it.  ("Mommy look!  It's on the bookcase-- how did it get up there?")

So now, there's this Elf on the Shelf franchise going on.  Martin Scorcese's daughter even has been in on it, making a movie for it.

At Target, they are selling the book and the elf for $29.99.  With this, you will get a $5 gift card back along with FREE SHIPPING.  (And compared to the $35 up + shipping at places elsewhere, this is probably the best deal going on for it!)  http://www.target.com/p/The-Elf-on-the-Shelf-A-Christmas-Tradition-with-Blue-Eyed-Elf/-/A-13740548

Do you have a Target credit card?  Or even yet, their debit card?  Use that for an additional 5% off!

PS-- for those of you not into the idea of the doll that comes along with it, they also sell it for Nook at Barnes and Noble for just $9.99  http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/elf-on-the-shelf-carol-v-aebersold/1018468021?ean=9780976990727

Save A Little Sanity And Get A $10 Credit On Your First Purchase!!!

After seeing an almost too-good-to-be-true post about an online company, I thought I would play guinea pig and give it a try.

Whew!  I lucked out!

It's for a Las Vegas-based health product company called VitaCost.  Don't let the name fool you.  (Because I totally would have passed this deal up myself, if I didn't see the other  products they have to offer.)

Bob's Red Mill.  Now, if you've ever made the trip out there, you see cars lined up the whole side of the street.  Finding a parking place sometimes takes up to 10 minutes, and once you get inside-- what a hassle!

So when I saw Bob's Red Mill products advertised with VitaCost (along with the $10 first-time credit), I totally took the bait, and ordered 3 bags of their Golden Cous Cous.

(By the way--never had cous cous?  So easy to fix!  Pour some in a lidded container, add boiling water, and let it sit for 3mins.  Perfect filler to add to those scant chicken soups, or heat it up with parmesan cheese, broccoli and shrimp...  so quick!)

I watched my bank.  They took out the $6 and some change out.  I tracked the order through their UPS site.  It was totally legit.  Because of Thanksgiving, I received my order intact the next day, packed safely in those new packing things filled with air.  I saved $10, plus the gas and insanity it would have taken to go out there.

If you want to see what I am talking about, get on the link below to get your first-time $10 customer credit!  (Spend it now, where their current deal is free shipping on any order over $49-- or hang onto it when their next round of free shipping shows up!  But even then, it's just a flat $4.99, which is CHEAPER than the gas it would cost to go out to Bob's Red Mill with!)

30% Off Adorable Diaper Bags At Baby Parade!

When I think of the diaper bag I had for my teen when she was a baby...

So embarrassing!  (I just spent the last 10 minutes, google imaging it, and I couldn't find anything on it.  It was white with little black pawprints all over it-- so it would go with the matching porta-crib.)

But times have changed!

Places like Baby Parade, are offering the sweetest looking diaper bags for even sweeter deals.

Right now, if you go to their site http://www.babyparade.com/jp-lizzy/diaper-bags.html?utm_source=PTS_newsletter&utm_medium=1311-16_p&utm_content=news_1311-16_p_112&utm_campaign=news_pt_1311-16 , you can get 30% off through Monday!  Great baby shower gift or just in time for Christmas!

Once, Twice, Three Times At IHOP...

That's the deal you can get, when you go onto IHOP's facebook page, click 'like' and join their Pancake Revolution https://www.facebook.com/IHOP?sk=app_10531514314

When you provide your name, email, and birthdate, you will get a Free Rooty Tooty Breakfast meal (or that of same or lesser value) for signing up, another one on your birthday, and then one on the one-year anniversary of signing up.

It would be great if you could get a whole table's worth of this deal, but it's only good, one coupon per table.  So, get one for yourself and then get the holiday pancakes for the kiddos, starting at $4.99. My husband took our 5-year old to IHOP last week where instead of the kid's deal, he got her the Rooty Tooty instead. (Aside from the hash browns, she ate the whole dang thing!  Look at the cocoa!  It's almost as big as her head!)

Bath And Body Works Black Friday Afternoon Deals

After seeing all the tents lined up at my local mall, there's no way I'm going to have a prayer, by heading out there in a couple more hours!

With that said, if you'll be at the stores, picking over the bones of Black Friday, you'll be able to score some little freebies, if you stop by Bath and Body at 3pm.  And you need the above coupon found here:  http://bbwblackfridaydeals.com/exclusive-offer.html

Unfortunately-- there's a little catch.  They're with a purchase.

But hey, no big deal.  They have some sweet aromatherapeutic things in there, which makes it a nice place to stop for some bath essentials after spending all day pounding the cement shopping!

So, make any purchase, get a travel-size Aromatherapy or True Blue Spa product.  Spend $10 or more, and get a full-size version of them.  (Just a reminder-- this offer excludes Home Fragrances and Gift Sets.)

Toy Coupons Just In Time For Black Friday!!!

http://www.coupons.com/ has manufacturer's coupons just in time for the mad rush of holiday shoppers this Friday.

Are you going to partake?  I've never done it before, so I'm still on the fence!

Yankee Candle $10 off $25-- Black Friday????

There's a coupon found here http://www.yankeecandle.com/print_coupons where you can print a $10 off coupon good for any Yankee Candle product purchase of $25 or more.

Since it expires December 4th, it is good through BLACK FRIDAY.  And keep in mind that this coupon is good for any Yankee Candle store or particpating retailer (exclcuding Target, outlet stores (DARN!!!), and any Yankee fund-raising program.

$1+ Coupons off Wonka/Nestle Candies

At Coupon Network ( http://www.couponnetwork.com/?utm_source=Hip2Save&utm_medium=Affiliate ), you can print out $1 off coupons for Wonka brand candy canes, $1 off coupons for Wonka Nerds, and $1.25 coupons for Nestle Jingles.

Of course-- when you buy TWO of them!

Still, $1 is a $1, and it's the only time of the year when you can appreciate those little punkins (oops-- Punkins?  Okay-- then TWICE a year) go nuts.  (Along with those times, where an occasional (aka every 1/2 hour) piece can calm you down!)

Philadelphia Cooking Cream Buy 1 Get 1 Free

Have any of you tried this yet?  I keep seeing it, and then think about how I might as well just warm it up in the microwave and stick a spoon in it, because my husband would probably end up eating it like that if he could.

If you click on Cooking With Kraft's coupon print page:  http://print.coupons.com/Couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=14703&zid=us85&nid=20 you can get a Buy One Get One Free coupon.  Although the other coupons (that you can also print out on there-- including a Baker's Chocolate one!) say "Redeem At Publix", they are manufacturer's coupons, which means you can redeem it anywhere.  (Publix just spent some extra $$$ and stuck their name on it to advertise their name.  However, the Cooking Creme one doesn't even list Publix on it.)

Apparently, this stuff can be used in enchiladas, to spruce up macaroni and cheese, as a sandwich sauce, you name it.  So with the prices already low for this at Walmart, this coupon might be just enough to give this stuff a try!

Planning On Going To Cascade Station This Weekend For Some Shopping?

I live in a less-than 20 mile vicinity of Cascade Station, so it doesn't take that long at all to head down there on the freeway.  But for some reason, whenever I bring my kiddo along, two minutes into the ride, I get those infamous words "I'm hungry".

So, if you are going to be in the Cascade Station area-- this Friday through Sunday, and have a kiddo (or more) in tow, keep in mind that IKEA has a deal where kids eat FREE.  This way, you don't have to go through the extravagance (and $$$) of the nearby Buffalo Wild Wings and Red Robin-- and then of course, whining to take them to that self-serve yogurt shop, thinking to yourself "really?  I could have saved $60 not having to bring them with me".  Although there's always the IHOP and a couple more-- but for something quick and free (as well as complaint-FREE) this is a very good option!

2nd Chance $5 Off At Hallmark

I'm so happy that they are doing this again!  I totally misplaced my coupon last week, and wasn't able to get in on this deal!

Head on over to Hallmark's Facebook page, where you can print out a $5 off any purchase of $10 or more coupon at Hallmark stores-- good through 12/4.  https://www.facebook.com/HALLMARK  (Then click on "special offer" tab.)

(Since it says "one coupon good per customer", it has a disclaimer that no photocopied or mechanically reproduced coupons are accepted.  So, I'm assuming that the number of copies box that pops up on your screen, counts as "mechanically reproduced".)

But this comes in great for little stocking stuffers-- and a great deal for those over-priced-but-need-to-get-for-the-kiddos-as-a-tradition ornaments!

Brother Sewing Machine Deals

This Black Friday, Walmart is offering their Brother Project Runway edition sewing machine for $49.97.

However...

If you are looking for a little bit more oomph than just the basics, check out the Brother XL2600I 25-Stitch Free-Arm Sewing Machine.  This Amazon deal can be found at:  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000F7DPEQ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=fabulfruga-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399373&creativeASIN=B000F7DPEQ

Brother XL2600I Sew Advance Sew Affordable 25-Stitch Free-Arm Sewing Machine

This really bites, as I have sewing projects sitting around, because my 18-year old Singer one has been misbehaving beyond unreasonably!  And of course, (despite saving the few dollars here and there couponing), this kind of takes a bite out of my budget.  But yet, it's so darn cheap!

So, if you were planning on checking out a sewing machine to do some sprucing up projects around the house for the holidays, this deal might be something worth looking into!

More Doorbusting Sales At Old Navy!

My husband went to Old Navy over the summer, and bought the Hangover shirt that depicts the character Alan and some saying about a man purse.  Why am I not able to tell you exactly what it says?  Because (like the sweaters), it is just another thing stashed in the closet somewhere-- forgotten. (But not by me, because I remember paying FULL-PRICE for it, because he just had to have it!)

But good news out there for you guys-- Old Navy is continuing their doorbuster sales, with 75% off graphic tees starting tomorrow, along with long-sleeved tees the next day, and then an additional 50% off adult clearance on Wednesday.  All this from the hours between 12pm and 5pm.

On top of this, you can get an additional $5 off any purchase of $25 or more, by heading over to their page and printin their coupon off.  (I'm assuming twice-- if not more (depending on if you swing on to another facebook ID) https://www.facebook.com/oldnavy?sk=app_202603343084972 .  That way, you can split your items up, and save more with multiple transactions.

See it as a cheap stocking stuffer.  Add this with some cheap sweats at Target next weekend, and you've got your significant other a lazy-good-for-nothing weekend outfit (just kidding!) that he can veg in front of the tv gaming in, or watching football, or whatever else they do!

Do You Still Have That Breyers Coupon? $2.24 At Walgreens!

My apologies for posting the prior deals.  Someone told me what deals they got, and apparently, those didn't show up at my local stores!

However...

Walgreens-- which can be confirmed in their add, is offering their Breyers ice cream at $2.99 each.  Using the $1.50 off coupon (found here by scrolling down to the banner at the bottom of the page:
http://see.walmart.com/groceryguru?adid=1500000000000037754680 ), you can basically pick these up for $2.24 a piece!  (Mind you, places like Albertson's are having a buy one get one sale, but their local (Portland metro area) ad is stating "save up to $6.99", which makes them average $3.50 a piece.)

Free Samples From Target Dove/Woolite

Target is offering two free samples by mail right now.  (This way, you can feel a little special when a little box shows up with your name on it-- not your kids, lol!)

Go to Target's sample page: http://samples.target.com/  The Dove nourishing oil smoothing leave-in treatment one is easy.  The Woolite, I had to give a second try, because if you answer something like "No. I use one detergent for everything", it will say that I don't qualify for the offer.  So say "yes", so that you won't have to go through the trouble.
