As a mom to a young daughter (as well as a teen one), I can understand how this coupon thing comes across as very appealing.   After all, who doesn't love a good deal, where a receipt can show a savings of 75%-- or MORE?  I am proud to say, that the savings I get from clipping and printing coupons, pay for my daughter's gymnastics, and some other extras each month!

And with the shows on television, this new (to me) process can sometimes come across as very confusing.  As it's currently a learning experience, I too, encounter times where I don't read the fine print, and end up looking like an idiot, disputing why I'm not getting the 'get free' deal on a bottle of 64oz juice, when in the fine print, it states '32oz'.  (As well as encountering cashiers and even security guards, who do not know the coupon policies of their own stores!)  Because of this, I am really wanting to get the hang of how to do this, and all the while, help anyone out there, by educating them with my experiences and vice versa!

With 'Oregon Coupon Deals', I am hoping to accomplish this, and much more.  In the long run, my goal is to get this blog up and going (because it's been a few months since I've been able to get on it without a computer!), to help those who live in Oregon, to get those awesome deals.  And having this coupon blog set in Oregon, I am hoping to get a large community going on here, where we can help each other post about those hard-to-find items that some stores that don't carry, the skinny on regional deals (because coupon tips from Idaho-based stores don't help much, when the stores here don't accept them) as well as possibly get the word out on some Oregon-based businesses, where we can get an even better deal-- by keeping it local!
